Unique in design, one of a kind! I came up with this idea by following an idea that my grandmother had of crocheting around the edge of a baby blanket. When my son was born (35 years ago!) I wanted receiving blankets like grandma had made so I figured out my own design and have been doing them as gifts ever since. All of my grandchildren have several and many have kept them throughout the years as keepsakes!

I HATE little receiving blankets so I make these as big as I can. They measure approximately 42" x 42".

These receiving blankets are double-sided flannel so very warm and comfortable. Many moms use them as the baby's main blanket and love them because they are so soft and wash so well.
